Section 24(2) in The U.P. Harcourt Butler Technical University Act, 2016
(2)The Head of a Department/Centre/Unit shall be responsible for the proper functioning of the Department/Centre/Unit subject to the general control of the Vice-Chancellor through Dean of School concerned.
