Section 4 in The Goa Panchayat Raj (Conditions of Service of State Election Commissioner) Rules, 1997
4. Term of Office.
- The Commissioner shall hold office for a period of [six years] [Substituted by the (Forth Amendment) Rules 2008.] from the date on which he assumes his office or until he attains the age of [sixty five years,] [Substituted by the (Third Amendment) Rules 2006.] whichever is earlier.
