Section 17(1) in Maharashtra Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayuktas Act, 1971
(1)The Governor may, by notification published in the Official Gazette, and after consultation with the Lokayukta, confer on the Lokayukta or an Upa-Lokayukta, as the case may be, such additional functions in relation to the redress of grievances and eradication of corruption as may be specified in the notification.
