Section 23(1) in Regulations of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University
(1)The age of superannuation for all such employees who were recruited and appointed against permanent or temporary posts of the University shall be fifty-eight years. The others shall be governed by the regulations of the respective parent organisations to which they belong. The appointing authority shall have power to extend the age of superannuation of the University employees up to sixty years, subject to the following conditions:--(a)that his services, are useful and essential to the University;(b)that work of the employee has been outstanding in the past five years; and(c)that he is found to be medically fit.
