Section 4(c) in Multi-Storeyed and Public Buildings Rules, 1973
(c)In so far as the determination of sufficiency of all aspects of structural design, building, services, plumbing, fire protection, construction practices and safety, the specifications, standards and codes of practice recommended in the National Building Code of India, 1970 shall be fully conformed to, besides those prescribed in these rules and any breach thereof shall be deemed to be a breach of the requirements under these rules.
