Section 7(2)(a2) in Punjab Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1972

(a2)the Surveillance workers/Vaccinators and other public health personnel of different "Diseases eradication and public health programme" who are required to visit every home in their areas in certain periods shall report the occurrence of births and deaths in their areas.
