Section 2(j) in The Rajasthan Municipalities (Class IV Service) Rules, 1964
(j)"Medical Officer' means a Medical Officer not below the rank of CAS [X X X] [Deleted by Notification No. Tax/Rules/F. 21/DLB/64 3975-3981 dated 2-2-1967.] or such other officer as may be appointed by the Government for the purpose of these rules;
