1208. Pay of subordinate officers for periods of absence without leave.
- The pay of officers for periods of absence without leave or overstayal of leave shall not be drawn at all. Their names shall be entered both in the pay bill and in the register of pay and allowances held over but the amount due for this period need not be shown as it will be calculated according to the kind of leave which is subsequently granted. Until final order is passed regarding leave, remarks, such as "overstaying leave" shall be recorded against the names in the pay bill as well as in the register.
