Section 27(2)(j) in The Life Insurance Corporation of India (Agents) Regulations, 2017

(j)apply for fresh agency appointment to act as an insurance agent, if his agency appointment was earlier canceled by the designated official, and a period of five years has not elapsed from the date of such cancellation;
