Section 48B(4) in The Calcutta Suburban Police Act, 1866
(4)The Commissioner of Police shall, on being satisfied of the title of any claimant to the possession or administration of any property referred in sub-section (2), order the same to be delivered to him, after deduction or payment of the expenses properly incurred by the Police in the seizure and detention thereof.
