Section 58(6)(a) in The Maharashtra Industrial Relations Act, 1946

(a)Notwithstanding anything contained in the forgoing sub-sections, if at any stage of a conciliation proceeding the parties agree in writing to submit the dispute to arbitration, the agreement shall be deemed to be a submission within the meaning of section 66.
