Section 5(2) in Maharashtra Factories Rules, 1963

Provided that -
(i)fees to be charged for the following classes of factories shall, subject to a minimum of rupees five, be half of those specified above, if they do not work for more than 180 days in the aggregate in a calendar year:-
(a)Cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories,
(b)Gur Factories,
(c)Jarda Factories (tobacco processing),
(d)Cashewnut Factories,
(e)Groundnut Decorticating Factories,
(f)Rice Mills;
(ii)in the case of other factories working for a part of the year, and commencing work on or after ast day of July, the fees to be charged for the first time shall, subject to a minimum of rupees five, be half of those specified in the Schedule aforesaid.
[Provided further that, if the period for which the licence is applied for is one year or more but does not exceed [ten years] [Added by G.N. of 13.10.1981] the fees payable therefor per year, shall be at the rates specified in this sub-rule.]
