9. Power of Central Government to review orders passed under section 4 or section 6.-
(1)Where the Central Government considers it necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, it may, on receipt of a representation from any person or otherwise, review any order passed by the Director General of Civil Aviation under section 4 or by the Director General of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security under section 6 and issue such directions, as it deems fit, to the concerned Director General to rescind or modify the order so passed.(2)The Director General of Civil Aviation or the Director General of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, as the case may be, shall comply with every direction issued under sub-section (1) and either rescind or modify the order so passed by him under section 4 or section 6, as the case may be.
