Section 1116(f) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(f)All special reports shall be concise, shall be written in good English and shall contain-(i)all details ascertained up to date regarding the commission of the offence and information regarding the progress and quality of the investigation;(ii)both the name and designation of any officer of or above the rank of Sub-Inspector who is mentioned;(iii)the name, father's name and residence of any person arrested or suspected.
