Section 21(1)(i) in The Bihar Co-operative Societies Rules, 1959

(i)The general meeting shall be held at a time, date and place notified in accordance with the bye-laws of the registered society and if a quorum is present, the members present shall unless otherwise provided in the bye-laws elect from among themselves a Chairman and a Deputy Chairman of the meeting :
