(1)The accounts of the Taluk Panchayat Fund shall be audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (hereinafter referred to as auditor) in accordance with the provisions of the Comptroller and Auditor General (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971.(2)The auditor shall, for the purpose of audit, have access to all the accounts and other records of the Taluk Panchayat.(3)The auditor shall send every year to the Government a consolidated audit report in respect of the Taluk Panchayats in the State and the Government shall lay the consolidated report before both the Houses of the State Legislature.
