Section 17(3) in Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Act, 1961
(3)If any dispute arises in regard to the amount [xxx] [The words 'of compensation' were omitted by section 5(i)(b) of the Tamil Nadu Land Reforms (Fixation of Ceiling on Land) Amendment Act, 1979 (Tamil Nadu Act 11 of 1979).] under sub-section (2), either party may make an application to the authorised officer within whose jurisdiction the land or the major part thereof is situated, for deciding such dispute. The authorised officer shall decide such dispute in accordance with such procedure as may be prescribed.
