Section 2(1)(h) in The Orissa Electricity Reform (Transfer of Assets, Liabilities, Proceedings and Personnel of Gridco to Distribution Companies) Rules, 1998

(h)"Distcos" means together the four distribution companies namely, Cesco, Nesco, Wesco and Southco which have been incorporated with the principal objective of engaging in the business of distribution and retail supply of electricity in the relevant Area of Supply and "Distco" shall mean any one of them;
