Section 36(1) in Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Standards of Quality of Service and Consumer Protection (Addressable Systems) Regulations, 2017
(1)Every broadcaster and distributor of television channels shall maintain technical standards of the signals as per the relevant standards laid down by Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB)/European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI) /International Electro-technical Commission(IEC)/Indian Standard, if any.
