05.08.2022 WP(C) 1073/2020:

Learned counsel for the respondents seeks and is granted four weeks' further time to file objections. This shall, however, be subject to the payment of Rs. 2000/- to be deposited in the Advocates' Welfare Fund.
CCP(S) 26/2022:
This is a petition for initiating contempt proceedings against the respondents for willful disobedience and non-compliance of the order/ interim directions dated 07.08.2022, passed in WP(C) 1073/2020, whereby , respondents were directed not to finalize E-Auction with regard to Block 10 and 11, in so far it pertains to the proprietary land of the petitioner.
In response to the notice issued to the respondents in the contempt petition, respondents have filed their compliance report and have in Paragraph (3) submitted that they have not allotted mineral blocks in question to the successful bidder nor have they permitted any mining activity.
In view of the aforesaid statement made in the compliance report filed by the respondents, no case for contempt proceedings against respondents is made out. Therefore, the contempt petition is dismissed. It shall, however, remain open to the petitioner to file a fresh contempt petition in case subsisting interim directions are violated by the respondents.
