Section 2(1)(n) in ICFAI University Act, 2003

(n)"Teacher" means a professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor/Lecturer or such other person as may be appointed for imparting instruction or conduction research in the University or in a constituent college and institution and includes the principal of a constituent college, in conformity with the norms prescribed by the UGC;
