Section 18(e) in The U.P. (Regulation Of Building Operations) Act, 1958
(e)the erection of a place of worship or a tomb or cenotaph or of a wall enclosing a graveyard, place of worship, cenotaph or Samadhi, on land which at the commencement of this Act is occupied by, or for the purpose of such place of worship, tomb, cenotaph, graveyard or samadhi.
