1. In pursuance to the last order, the Respondent No. 1 (Secretary Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Disability Affairs) is personally present.
2. He states that out of the three posts that were to be filled, the Chairperson for Rehabilitation Council of India has been appointed. He further states that the process of selection of Chairperson to the Board of National Trust for the Welfare of Persons with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation & Multiple Disabilities is complete and the names are lying with the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet ('ACC') since 15th March, 2024.

3. He also states that the process for appointment of Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities (CCPD) is in its final stage. He states that after conduct of interviews and after obtaining the vigilance clearance, the names shall be forwarded to the DoPT for placing it before the ACC. He anticipates that the entire process for appointment of the aforesaid three posts shall be completed on or before 30th June, 2024.
4. Learned counsel for the Respondent assures and undertakes to this Court that the two unfilled posts are held by the Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities on an additional charge basis and functioning of both these bodies is not affected in any manner.
5. At request, list on 2nd August, 2024. The Respondent No. 1 is directed to join the proceedings virtually on the next date of hearing.
