Section 23(1) in The Rajasthan Law And Judicial Department Manual, 1952
(1)The Public Prosecutor shall advise the District Magistrate on any legal question arising out of any criminal proceeding which has been instituted or is proposed to be instituted within the Public ProsecutorÂ’s jurisdiction.
