Section 250(2)(i) in The Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1994

(i)In the case of Transport Inspector. Transport Sub-Inspector and Assistant Transport Sub-Inspector, the Transport Commissioner or a Deputy Transport Commissioner may alter obtaining the explanation of the defaulter and conducting such summary enquiry as they may deem fit, impose fine of an amount not exceeding one month's pay.
