Section 21(1) in The Goa Ground Water Regulation Act, 2002
(1)The Ground Water Officer may, in public interest, for providing water for drinking purposes, requisition any well or water source from its owner after due notice in such a manner and in such form as may be prescribed and for such period as may be specified in the order but in no case exceeding six months at a time.
