Section 81 in The West Bengal Municipal Elections Act, 1994
81. Electoral offences for the purposes of the Act. -
For the purposes of this Act, the electoral offences under Chapter III [of Part VII] [Words and figures inserted by W.B. Act 46 of 1994.] of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, shall be the electoral offences under this Act, and the provisions of Chapter III [of Part VII] [Words and figures inserted by W.B. Act 46 of 1994.] of that Act shall apply to the electoral offences under this Act.
