224. Penalty for obstructing persons employed by Zila Panchayat or Kshettra Panchayat.
- Whoever obstructs or molests a person employed by or under contract with, the Zila Panchayat or a Kshettra Panchayat under this Act in the performance of his duty or in the fulfilment of his contract, or removes a mark set up for the purpose of indicating any levels or direction necessary to the execution of works authorized by this Act, shall be liable to conviction to imprisonment up to to three months or fine up to five hundred rupees or both.
