Section 102(5) in The Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989
(5)No animals under sub-rule (1) or under sub-rule (4) shall be carried for more than 200 kilometres at a stretch and there shall be a break of four to six hours after eight hours of continuous journey.
