        The Appellant was not present in spite of notice.

2. The Appellant did not turn up in the Mumbai studio of the NIC in spite of  notice.   The   Respondents   were   present   in   our   chamber   and   made   their  submissions.

3. The Appellant had wanted to know the exact basis for awarding marks  CIC/SM/A/2011/000885 during an interview for promotion to higher ranks as well as about the details of  the   marks   awarded   to   him   during   the   interview   under   various   heads   in   a  comparative matrix. The CPIO had provided him with the available information  but without the marks awarded to others who had been found successful. The  Appellate Authority had endorsed the information provided by the CPIO.

4. After carefully considering the facts of the case, we are of the view that  although the CPIO had already provided much of the information, he should  also   provide   now   the   details   of   the   marks   awarded   to   other   successful  candidates   in   that   particular   interview   in   which   the   Appellant   himself   had  appeared.   We   direct   the   CPIO   to   send   this   information   in   the   form   of   a  statement within 10 working days of receiving this order.

5. The appeal is disposed of accordingly.

6. Copies of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
