Section 89(b) in Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Elections) Rules, 1995
(b)send a report of the result of the election to the District Election Officer, Director of Rural Development, Government and the State Election Commission and to such other officers or authorities as may be specified by the State Election Commission; and
