22. Selection Committee.
- The Selection Committee for the appointment or promotion of a Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, shall consist of:-(a)the Director;(b)the Secretary to Government, Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department;(c)one external expert in the concerned speciality, nominated by the Director;(d)Dean of the Faculty;(e)one Honorary Medical Consultant to the Institute to be nominated by the Director:Provided that no person shall participate in the meeting of the Selection Committee for any appointment, if he or his near relative is a candidate for that appointment.
