Section 69(1) in The Himachal Pradesh Minor Canals Act, 1976
(1)The Himachal Pradesh Minor Canals Act, 1955 (14 of 1955) as in force in the areas comprised in Himachal Pradesh immediately before 1st November, 1966 and the Punjab Minor Canals Act, 1905 (3 of 1905) and the Punjab State Tubewell Act, 1954 (21 of 1954), as in force in the areas transferred to Himachal Pradesh under section 5 of the Punjab Re-organisation Act, 1966 (31 of 1966) shall stand repealed;Provided that anything done or any action taken or any proceedings commenced or continued under the said Acts shall be deemed to have been done, taken, commenced or continued under the corresponding provisions of this Act.
