34. Act to override other laws. Delegation of powers and duties of the State Government and of the local bodies in connection with schemes undertaken by Corporation. -
The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law for the time being in force, and the State Government may delegate to the Corporation such of its powers or duties, or vest it with such powers and duties exercisable by local bodies, under any local or special law, in connection with the execution of schemes undertaken by the Corporation, as the State Government thinks fit.
