(1)The Chancellor, the Pro-Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, if any, and the members of the Senate, the Syndicate and the Academic Council, for the time being, shall constitute a body corporate by the name of the University of Calicut.(2)The University shall have perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall sue and be sued by the said name.
