Section 6(1) in Jharkhand Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011
(1)The limits of neighbourhood within which a school has to be established for providing free and compulsory elementary education shall be as under -(a)Within a walking distance of one kilometer for children in classes 1 to 5;(b)Within a walking distance of two kilometers for children in classes 6 to 8.
