Section 5(6) in The West Bengal State Council Of Higher Education Act, 1994.

(6)The selection criteria, age, conditions of service of the Chairman, the Vice-Chairman and other members (other than an ex officio member) of the State Council shall be such as may be prescribed:Provided that the office of the Chairman, the Vice-Chairman and Member-Secretary shall be whole-time.
