Petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 2nd Respondent herein to admit her to the First Year of M.B.B.S. Course for the academic year 2018-2019 by virtue of her merit under the Scheduled Caste category of Puducherry.
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner obtained her Community Certificate under Scheduled Caste category from the Department concerned on 16.07.2018 and produced the same before a Division Bench of this Court, where the Writ Petition filed by her in W.P.No.17937 of 2018 seeking issuance of Community Certificate under Pondicherry Schedule Caste category, was pending. In view of the production of Community Certificate, the said Writ Petition was disposed of on 17.07.2018, permitting the Petitioner to appear for M.B.B.S. Counselling. The said submissions of the learned counsel for the Petitioner are recorded.
3. In view of the same, as nothing further survives for adjudication in this matter, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.No.19794 of 2018 is closed.
