8. Acknowledgement of Application.
- The Authority, constituted under section 10, or any officer/employee authorised by him, shall, acknowledge receipt of the application for grant/renewal of Provisional/Permanent registration, in [the duly filled in acknowledgement slip in Form-5] [Substituted 'the acknowledgement slip in Form-5' by Notification No. G.S.R. 63, dated 17.3.2015 (w.e.f. 5.6.2013).], same day if submitted in person or not later than the next working day, if received by post and in case of online application, acknowledgement shall be generated automatically by the system.
