Section 26(2)(a) in The Maharashtra Animal and Fishery Sciences University Act, 1998

(a)A member elected by the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly or the Maharashtra Legislative Council shall cease to be a member of the Executive Council as soon as he ceases to be a member of the electing body.
