Section 283 in Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in Lok Sabha
283. Power of Speaker to give directions.
(1)The Speaker may from time to time issue such directions to the Chairperson of a Committee, as the Speaker considers necessary, for regulating its procedure and the organisation of its work.(2)If any doubt arises on any point of procedure or otherwise, the Chairperson may if thinks fit, refer the point to the Speaker whose decision shall be final.
