Section 18(1) in The Jammu And Kashmir Habitual Offenders (Control And Reform) Act, 1956
(1)Any registered person who contravenes any rule, notice, direction or order made under this Act, the breach of which is not otherwise provided for, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend,-(a)on a first conviction, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to two hundred rupees, or with both; and(b)on any subsequent conviction, with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or with both.
