Section 28(4) in Uttar Pradesh State Universities Act, 1973
(4)Subject to the provisions of sub-section (5) the Committee may issue any direction as respects criteria or methods of admissions [(including the number of students to be admitted)] [Inserted by Uttar Pradesh Act No. 21 of 1975.] to constituent colleges maintained by the State Government and affiliated or associated colleges, arid such directions shall be binding on such colleges.
