Section 14 in Andhra Pradesh Universities Act, 1991
14. The Rector.
- There shall be a Rector who shall be appointed by the Executive Council on the recommendations of the Vice-Chancellor in such manner and on such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the Statutes from among the senior professors. He shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
