Section 39(1) in Sardar Patel University of Police, Security and Criminal Justice, Jodhpur Act, 2012
(1)All casual vacancies among the members (other than ex-officio members) of any authority or body of the University shall be filled as soon as possible by appointment or nomination according as the member whose place became vacant was appointed or nominated and the person appointed or nominated to a casual vacancy shall be a member of such authority or body for the residuary period of the term for which the person whose place he fills would have continued but for the vacancy.
