Section 34(1) in The M.P. Shops and Establishments Act, 1958
(1)Save as otherwise provided in this Act, it shall be the duty of every Local Authority whom the Government may by order empower in this behalf to enforce within the area subject to its jurisdiction, the provisions of this Act, subject to the control of the Government.
