The District Judge, subject to the control of the High Court, shall use his discretion in calculating this amount and shall be responsible for seeing that the sum left in the hands of his subordinate is not more than the amount of the security taken from such subordinate.Security shall in no case be dispensed with except where exemption may be made under special or general orders of Government. Exemption cannot be sought on the ground that a person is an apprentice, outsider or other temporary incumbent, and he shall be required to furnish security or execute a personal bond as may be necessary under the rules. The minimum amounts of security required for the posts of Central Nazir, Deputy Nazir, Assistant Nazir, Amins of Grades I and II and Process Servers, and Amins' Peons of big and small judgeships are given below. This, however, does not in any way fetter the discretion of the District Judge to fix a large amount of security in any case where circumstances justify it.
