Section 1 in Saurashtra Felling of Trees (Infliction of Punishment) Act, 1951
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Saurashtra Felling of Trees (Infliction of Punishment) Act, 1951.(2)[ It extends to the whole of the State of Gujarat. ] [Sub-section (2) was substituted for the original by Gujarat 9 of 1960, section 3(a).](3)It shall come into force at once.
