(2)Every non-official visitor so appointed shall hold office, as such, for two years, but may be reappointed on the expiration of that term.Note. - (i) The non-official visitors will be such persons who are interested in social work and have a background of the same.(ii)As far as possible non-official Visitors should be appointed from amongst the M.L.As., Ex.M.L.As. or other social workers of repute in the District in which the jail is situated.(iii)The Government may appoint State level Non-Official Visitor in respect of all the jails in the State.
