Section 8(3) in The Punjab Suppression of Immoral Traffic in Women and Girls Rules, 1960
(3)The Superintendent or some other official of the protective home considered suitable by such Superintendent, shall then have the woman or girl examined by the Medical Officer of the protective home and if need be the Medical Officer/Superintendent shall have her examined in the local hospital.
